Project Overview
Needs Assessment The Florida Department of Transportation, District One, is performing a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study along US 27 from north of I-4 to US 192. This evaluation is necessary due to the ongoing urbanization and growth in this area, which requires action to improve and maintain safe and efficient transportation measures. Planning, Design, Right of Way and Construction The PD&E study is scheduled for completion in spring 2008. Design is scheduled to begin in fiscal year 2008. Currently, right-of-way acquisition and construction phases are not funded in the FDOT tentative Five Year Work Program.
